• Flotis (Katia Garrouste)

Château Flotis was formed by three women who met while working at a neighboring winery. They became quick friends and decided to turn their passion and friendship into a business venture. Katia Garrouste is the winemaker and insists on organic farming and indigenous yeasts. She is passionate about the Négrette grape which is native to the Fronton region, and makes several cuvées from differing terroirs. Organically grown grapes.

    Flotis – Fronton “Si Noire”
    100% Négrette
Aged in neutral barrels and cement tanks. The Si Noire is a deep violet color and its powerful nose reveals fruit, pepper and licorice notes. Fresh plum and cherry on the palate open to savory notes of herbs and soft tannins. Drink with cassoulet, its traditional pairing, or a roasted vegetable tarte with black olives.
